Leonardo Luis Caamaño is a Certified Public Accountant and Business Administration graduate, holding an MBA from Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA), Argentina. He developed the early stage of his career primarily in multinational companies, working in Administration and Finance roles within the Insurance and Oil & Gas industries.
He has over 20years of experience in financial reporting, financial statement closings, controllership responsibilities, planning and budgeting, as well as 5+ years of experience in investment portfolio management.
He later spent a brief period in the entrepreneurial world, developing several ventures with mixed but highly valuable learning outcomes. He then returned to the corporate environment, joining Zurich Santander Argentina as Director of Strategy and Sustainability, where he played an active role in the strategic development of the business, with a strong focus on its long-term sustainability. During this phase, he had—for the second time in his career—the opportunity to lead the design and development of a company-wide sustainability agenda.
He currently serves as Regional Engagement Manager for Z Zurich Foundation in Latin America, a stage in which he has been able to fully align his professional and personal interests. This role allows him to work alongside diverse and highly committed teams across the region, identifying and advancing projects and initiatives that deliver sustainable impact for those who need it most in Latin America.
